Job Summary
Dubuque Appliance is looking for a Customer Service and Sales Representative to join our team! You are responsible for daily bookkeeping data entry, handling service requests, customer complaints, and managing the displays, products, and tidiness of the store floor. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees. This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis. Our business hours are M-F 9-6 and Sat 9-2, with flexible scheduling options. Expecting 40 hrs a week, but it could also be part-time. If working Saturday, you will get a weekday off.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Daily bookkeeping data entry.
- Perform marketing and sales functions to sell additional work and earn business
- Complete work orders, return customer calls, and respond to customer complaints
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
- Organizing and maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the store floor
- Warranty data entry claims
- Parts management
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills
- Positive Attitude
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Computer literate, comfortable with excel and basic computer tasks

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
